The Facility Management Department of the City of Remscheid (Germany) has opted for SuSAn Legionella to independently test contaminated systems following remediation. Once the drinking water installation has returned to a non-critical state, a further examination in accordance with the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV) is carried out. This approach saves both time and financial resources.

In addition, the city is preparing to implement permanent drinking water monitoring in order to detect potential risks at an early stage, thereby ensuring a reliable and safe supply for all employees and visitors.

Now what has been created in six years of developing, researching, designing, trying out, formulating, calculating, discussing, decisive, rejecting, redesigning and trying again will prove itself in practice.

Thanks to our first customers for their trust. We would like to thank everyone who has actively supported us on this path. Thanks to our competent creative research and development team. Thank you to family, friends, investors and partners, without whom we would not have come this far.

Our work is now bearing its first small fruits. An important milestone – albeit still a tender plant, but with an enormous amount of potential.

With Redberry SAS, our customers now have a direct contact in France and the Benelux countries.

Redberry SAS is a company specializing in the development and distribution of rapid detection systems and test solutions for pharmaceuticals, water and personal care products.

With SuSAn Legionella, Redberry SAS will serve the increasing demand for legionella analyses in drinking water installations and thus ideally complement its own portfolio.

For the first time, SuSAn Water GmbH was represented with its own booth in the “Digitalisation” section of the trade fair. And it was a strong debut. Surrounded by leading international companies in the water industry, we showcased our solutions—and the response to our new technology was outstanding. 

We had the opportunity to engage in over 100 in-depth discussions with visitors and exhibitors from around the world, highlighting the growing interest in innovative approaches to smart water management. 

And yes, we even found time to enjoy a stroll through the canals of Amsterdam and a visit to the world-renowned Rijksmuseum!

With an expanded offering, SHK+E ESSEN has impressively kicked off the trade fair season for the industry: Around 30,000 trade visitors came to Messe Essen from March 19 to 22, 2024, to learn about innovations in the areas of sanitation, heating, air conditioning, and electrical engineering. The focus of the offering from more than 330 exhibitors from 16 countries included heat pumps, hybrid heat pump systems, and other heating solutions, as well as products for efficient installation. 

In the accompanying specialist forums and special areas, SHK+E ESSEN also covered a wide range of topics currently affecting the industry: from artificial intelligence to drinking water hygiene to building energy laws.
